It’s hard to believe we are already a week into the New Year! As we start 2018, we took a look back at the big changes we made throughout 2017. Our marketing plan was such a huge focus over the last year. We hosted our monthly afterhours or “Thirsty Third Thursdays” which was a great way to not only connect with our Realtor and lender partners, but also clients. We also made our weekly flower deliveries each week with beautiful creations from Daniel Vaughn Designs. It was a fun way to brighten our Realtor’s lobby areas and stay connected with everyone each week. We hope you enjoyed them as much as we did! We made some changes to the Epic team in 2017. Julia Farrar joined the team in April as the Assistant Manager of Epic Settlement Services. She came to Epic with management experience and will obtain her title license this year. Kathy Weaver retired in December after years of being such a huge asset to out team. We already miss her! We also proudly announce that Jalene Jones purchased our sister company Epic Abstract. We are very proud of her and look forward to continuing to work together. In July, WE MOVED! Our new office is conveniently located off South Atherton in Scenery Park. We love our new location! When we moved, we also launched our new website. The new site is much more modern and offers more interactive features such as rate calculator. It took months of hard work and planning but we are thrilled with the outcome! Education was also a large part of our year. We hosted multiple Lunch & Learns at Realtor and lender offices in Centre County, and we also hosted Epic Educational After Hours here at our office. We brought Frank Fyalkowski, our long time First American representative and underwriter, out of retirement to join the team and assist with not only internal business development and education, but also assist in our many educational events. We are looking forward to what we have planned for 2018, stay tuned!
